Orakle Privacy Policy

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Orakle LLC, 1317 Edgewater Dr, #2367 Orlando, Florida 32804, United States (“Orakle”, “we”, “us”), handles information in connection with our company website, orakleinc.com (the “Website”), and in our business dealings with clients, partners and faculty.

The short version. The Website has no accounts, registration or login, and no forms that collect personal information. We collect what you choose to send us when you get in touch, the business contact details needed to work with you, and standard analytics about how the Website is used. We do not sell personal information.

Our learning platforms

Orakle also operates Expert’s Corner (experts-corner.com), our case-based learning site, and DxTx (dx-tx.net), our clinical calculator site, both for healthcare professionals. Those sites offer a single Orakle account that works on both, and each has its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which apply when you use them. This policy covers the Website and our business dealings only.

Information we collect

How we use information

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on performing a contract or taking steps at your request, our legitimate interests in running and developing our business and communicating with business contacts, our legal obligations, and, where required, your consent.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Website is used. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…, lasting up to two years) only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice shown on your first visit. If you choose “Reject”, or make no choice, no analytics cookies are set; the Google tag then sends only aggregate, cookieless signals that cannot recognize you or your device across visits. We do not use it for advertising, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google describes its own handling of this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage (orakle_consent) for 12 months, after which you will be asked again. You can change it at any time via Cookie settings.

Security and retention

We protect information with appropriate technical and organizational measures, and information sent between your browser and the Website is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep correspondence and business contact details for as long as our business relationship or legal obligations require, and faculty and accreditation records for as long as accredited providers or accrediting bodies require, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to the information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it; you may also object to how we use it, or withdraw consent where we rely on it, subject to applicable law (including, where it applies to you, the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws). To make a request, contact us at the address below. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

International use

Orakle is based in the United States, and information is stored and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

Children

The Website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the end of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be indicated on this page.
